As a company, we encourage employees to volunteer in organizations that work to make the world a better place. Our employees currently take leadership positions in foundations and boards, helping direct organizations that promote grassroots international understanding and cooperation, support public education, promote free speech, and make arts and culture accessible for all citizens. They volunteer their time to work in schools, senior centers, animal shelters, and religious and community organizations of all kinds.

Community service builds organizational spirit. Management Concepts sponsors a number of charitable and volunteer activities that employees work on together.  Joined in common cause, we come to know one another better, understand community needs from the ground up, and act on our conviction that we can make a difference.

We evaluate the activities we sponsor on an on-going basis and encourage our employees to suggest outreach activities that are of interest to them. Ongoing activities include:

• Junior Achievement – Employees regularly volunteer to educate and inspire young people to become schoolroom entrepreneurs, understanding business, valuing free enterprise, and participating in endeavors that could improve the quality of their lives.


• International Children’s Festival at Wolf Trap – Supporting the spirit of internationalism that is central to our nation’s capital, employees dedicate weekend time to sponsor and staff this unique event.  We are pleased to sponsor this event annually. 


• Toys for Tots Annual Campaign – We know the importance of toys at holiday time for all children. We contribute toys to the Marine Corps effort that collects and distributes a wide variety of toys throughout our communities.


• Make-A-Wish Foundation – Nothing can be more gratifying than granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich their lives with hope, strength, and joy. Management Concepts generously matches the employees’ contributions, dollar for dollar, annually in support of this organization.
