Management Concepts offers online Grants courses designed to allow you to meet the same learning objectives as in the classroom, from the convenience of your home or office. Each course includes a hardcopy textbook, designed to be used during class and afterward as a reference; an expert instructor; and opportunities to exchange information and ideas with peers in the grants community.

Where applicable, our online courses can be used for credit in the Grants Management Certificate Program™. Most of our online courses also qualify for GAGAS (Yellow Book) CPE credits. For more information, contact us at GrantseLearning@managementconcepts.com.

How Do the Online Grants Courses Work?

Management Concepts has adopted the asynchronous, instructor-led model of online learning used by many universities. Each week, you will be required to log onto the course site at least once to complete several assignments. Most students find that logging on two or three times a week allows them to get the most out of participation in threaded discussions. A typical week includes:

- reading from a hardcopy textbook
- responding to online discussion questions
- completing one or more online exercises (group or individual)
- interacting online with the instructor and fellow students through the discussion forum

Students use the online course site to:

- view the week’s assignments list
- complete individual exercises
- interact with study group members through live chat or the discussion forum
- contact the instructor
- receive feedback on exercise answers and discussion forum postings
- complete quizzes and final exams
