CGFM Training Series

The Association of Government Accountants (AGA) and Management Concepts have formed an educational partnership to bring you the Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Training Series. Designed to meet the practical and professional development needs of financial managers at every level of government, these courses provide the advanced knowledge and instill the confidence you need in order to sit for each of the three CGFM examinations.

Achieving the status of a CGFM demonstrates that:

• You have acquired a high level of knowledge and vast experience in government financial management.
• You are aware of the latest policies and procedures.
• You are a true professional.

The CGFM Training Series provides you with a broad base of knowledge in auditing, accounting, financial management, and budgeting—an absolute necessity in today's competitive work environment. It consists of three courses offered throughout the United States:

• Governmental Environment (1 day, 8 CPEs)
• Governmental Accounting, Financial Reporting and Budgeting (3 days, 24 CPEs)
• Governmental Financial Management and Control (2 days, 16 CPEs)

Financial management professionals who don't wish to pursue the CGFM still benefit from taking one or more of the courses. These courses have been designed as high quality continuing professional education (CPE) in government financial management.
