About The Authors:
Dr. David Hillson, PMP, FRSA, FAPM, FIRM, FCSI, is an international
risk management consultant and Director of Risk Doctor & Partners. He is a popular
conference speaker and award-winning author on risk. David is an active member of
the Project Management Institute (PMI), was a founding member of the Risk Management
Specific Interest Group, and received the PMI Distinguished Contribution Award for
his work developing risk management over many years.
Peter Simon, BSc, PMP, FAPM,
has 30 years of experience as a project
management consultant and practitioner across all industries and business sectors.
He successfully built the project management consultancy and training arms of the
PMProfessional group of companies, and is now Managing Partner of Lucidus Consulting
limited. Peter was Chairman of the UK Association for Project Management’s (APM)
Risk Management Specific Interest Group for four years and is a Fellow of APM, a
member of the PMI, and a Visiting Fellow of Cranfield University School of Management.
