ACTIAC ACT-IAC has been called an example of how government and industry can work together. Today, ACT-IAC continues to provide an objective and vendor-neutral forum that is trusted by both government and industry. The programs on the organization’s agenda have grown and evolved as the government and the technologies it uses change. ACT-IAC remains committed to creating a more effective and efficient government by providing a forum where those who share this vision can work together.

Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association
AFCEA AFCEA provides a forum for military, government and industry communities to collaborate so that technology and strategy align with the needs of those who serve. They are a member-based, non-profit international organization that has helped members advance information technology, communications and electronics capabilities since 1946. The association has 31,184 individual members, 139 chapters and 1,630 corporate members.

American Society of Military Comptrollers
ASMCThe American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC) is the non-profit educational and professional organization for persons, military and civilian, whose mission is to promote education, training, and professional development in all aspects of military comptrollership. The society also sponsors research, and provides professional programs to keep members abreast of current issues in defense financial management. As part of ASMC's Corporate Partner Advisory Group, Management Concepts provides ASMC leadership with guidance on corporate collaboration issues and supports its efforts to improve financial management in the Department of Defense.

Association for Federal Information Resources Management
AFIRM The Association for Federal Information Resources Management (AFFIRM) is a non-profit, volunteer, educational organization whose overall purpose is to improve the management of information, and related systems and resources, within the Federal government. AFFIRM membership is free for current employees of the government and academia.

Association of Government Accountants
AGAThe Association of Government Accountants (AGA) and Management Concepts have formed an educational partnership to bring you the Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Training Series. This course series was designed to meet the practical and professional development needs of financial managers at every level of government and to instill the confidence needed to sit for the CGFM examination.

Blacks In Government
BIG Blacks In Government was organized in 1975 and incorporated as a non-profit organization under the District of Columbia jurisdiction in 1976. BIG has been a national response to the need for African Americans in public service to organize around issues of mutual concern and use their collective strength to confront workplace and community issues. BIG's goals are to promote Equity in all aspects of American life, excellence in public service, and opportunity for all Americans.

Defense Acquisition University
DAUDAU provides certification training, mission assistance, and continuous learning courses for military and civilian acquisition personnel within the DoD. Its mission is to provide a global learning environment to develop qualified acquisition, requirements and contingency professionals who deliver and sustain effective and affordable warfighting capabilities. As a strategic partner, Management Concepts will allow DoD Acquisition Workforce members to transfer DAU American Council on Education (ACE) recommended courses for credit toward its professional certificate programs in the Program and Project Management areas

Federally Employed Women
FEW As a private organization, FEW works as an advocacy group to improve the status of women employed by the Federal government. This includes contact with Congress to encourage progressive legislation. FEW national officers meet with management officials at all levels of agencies to demonstrate support of the FWP (Federal Women’s Program), encourage officials to support the program and to obtain insight on the effectiveness of the FWP at agency and local levels. Additionally, Federally Employed Women is organized into ten regions. The approximately 100 chapters in the U.S. and overseas provide a network of monthly programs, meetings, training workshops, and special projects, all tailored to the specific needs of the chapter member. We welcome new chapters and new members.

Grants Professionals Association
GPA Since its inception in 1998, GPA has grown rapidly. With over 2,500 current members internationally, the opportunities and benefits of membership continue to attract people from all over the globe. In the spring of 2004, Birmingham, Alabama became the first city to form a local chapter. In the year following, additional chapters were formed. The process of local involvement and self-determination is an important benefit of membership.

Greater Washington Society of CPAs
GWSFounded in 1923, the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA) serves approximately 2,800 members in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Both CPAs and non-CPA financial professionals are making GWSPCA unique among CPA societies in the nation. The GWSCPCA serves a concentrated cross-section of business, industry, government, education, and public accounting professionals. Our partnership with the GWSCPA/Educational Foundation provides members with additional opportunities for professional development.

National Academy of Public Administration
NAPA The National Academy of Public Administration helps government leaders solve their most critical management challenges. Since 1967, our congressionally chartered non-partisan non-profit Academy has provided expert advice to government leaders in building and managing more effective, efficient, accountable, and transparent organizations. Our national network of over 850 Fellows includes former cabinet officers, Members of Congress, governors, mayors, and state legislators, as well as prominent scholars, business executives, and public administrators.

National Association of State Workforce Agencies
NASWA National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) is the national organization representing all 50 state workforce agencies, D.C. and U.S. territories. These agencies deliver training, employment, career, and business services, in addition to administering the unemployment insurance, veteran reemployment, and labor market information programs. NASWA provides policy expertise, shares promising state practices, and promotes state innovation and leadership in workforce development.

TOC The Training Officers Consortium, founded in 1938 in Washington, DC, is a nonprofit organization of Federal trainers and other professionals from industry and academe who are interested in contributing to the knowledge and practice of human resources and training. Our registrants provide services and networking opportunities to the Federal training community throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area and beyond. Since 1938, TOC has served as the primary meeting place for Federal training professionals to network with their peers and learn more about key issues affecting them in today’s rapidly changing workplace.
