COVID-19 Information for Management Concepts Washington, DC and Tysons Corner, VA Training Centers

The health and well-being of our employees, customers, instructors, and guests is our top priority. We would like to make you aware of our procedural updates as we phase back to in-person interaction at our local Training Centers. We have incorporated safety precautions in our daily operations based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We are monitoring information and updates continually regarding COVID-19 from the CDC and local governments and health departments. As these procedures evolve and more information becomes available, we will provide you with additional updates.

Sanitization Procedures

Cleaning products for all surfaces are approved for use against COVID-19.
All high-touch surfaces and common areas in Management Concepts
Training Centers are frequently disinfected throughout the day.

Management Concepts Building & Suites

Restroom surfaces including sinks, faucets, restroom stalls and toilet paper dispensers are cleaned throughout the day. Capacities will be limited to two people per restroom on each floor.

 

 

All keyboards, mice, and other computer equipment is cleaned regularly. Currently, our student internet area is closed for student use.

Public areas such doors and elevator buttons are cleaned frequently throughout the day.

 

 

All common area counters and classroom tabletops are disinfected before and after each class

 Classroom locations will be listed on the flat screen displays in our lobby.

 

 

Class break times are staggered to minimize the number of people in common areas at any given time.

Masks are required in all common areas of the building. Once you are in our Suites, if you are vaccinated you will not need to wear a mask. Unvaccinated people are required to wear a mask at all times.



  

Information you will want to know when taking classes in our Washington, DC and Tysons Corner, VA Training Centers:

  • At this time, the building is requiring all people entering our building to wear a mask in the common areas of the building including the building lobby and elevators.
  • Once you are in our Suite, vaccinated people will not need to wear a mask, but if you are NOT vaccinated you must wear a mask at all times.  Students are encouraged to bring proof of vaccination with them and we reserve the right to ask students to provide proof.
  • We expect all students to follow existing Federal Guidance that applies to the physical presence of individuals at Federal workspaces. While we are not a “Federal” workspace, we are adopting the same rules.
  • Management Concepts instructors and staff members are all fully vaccinated.
  • Cleaning products used for all surfaces are approved for use against Covid-19 and all high touch areas are cleaned frequently throughout the day.
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided.
  • We will not be serving food or drinks at this time, but we will provide bottled water. We also provide refrigerators and microwaves and you may bring food from home or you can purchase food at various locations nearby our Training Center.
  • Desks will be set-up for 1 student per desk and will be spaced out for distancing.

CDC Recommendations

Individuals including employees, guests, and building personnel must
follow recommendations by the CDC for everyday preventive actions
to help inhibit the spread of respiratory diseases.

Mandatory Precautions for Everyone

If in contact with someone who is sick or if you are sick do not enter the facility remain at home.

 

 

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

 

 

Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then dispose the tissue in the trash.

If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.

 

 

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
