In a special session “Acquisition/Contracting Career Pathways and Credentials Program for the 21st Century Workforce” on December 3, Management Concepts subject matter expert Stephen Blizzard debuted a new category in professional development for contracting professionals available in 2021.
Management Concepts Acquisition/Contracting Career Pathways and Credentials Program is designed to provide contracting professionals with knowledge and skills needed for a new technical or management role. This program supports career development beyond the classroom by providing access to real world subject matter experts and career counselors bridging theory with practice.

Management Concepts was pleased to exhibit as well as present a session at the 2019 Government Contract Management Symposium in Crystal City, VA. The session, entitled “Preparing for the Future of Contracting,” surrounded a new whitepaper produced in conjunction with NCMA staff, and a copy was included in the conference bags of all attendees.

Management Concepts was pleased to recognize the hard work and dedication of all of our partner organizations- including NCMA- by hosting our first ever partnership appreciation event. All members of our partner organizations were invited to attend and enjoy an evening of refreshments, networking, and festivities, all while supporting a good cause. This year we selected So Others Might Eat (S.O.M.E.) raising money and collecting the much-needed non-perishable food and toiletry items they need to fight homelessness and poverty.
