The application period for the 2023 AAFEA-Management Concepts Association Partner Scholarship is now closed. The winner will be announced at the AAFEA Leadership Development Workshop.

This annual scholarship provides the training you need to navigate the complex federal landscape with ease. Scholarships have a $10,000 value, with coursework accredited by a variety of nationally recognized accreditation bodies. AAFEA members may apply for any one of the following Certificate Programs:

  • Agile in Government Certificate
  • Analytics Certificate
  • Financial Management Certificate
  • Grants Management Certificate Program™ – Choice of Federal, Pass Through, or Recipient Track
  • Leadership Certificate
  • Project Management Certificate

2nd Annual Partnership Appreciation Holiday Charity Social

2020 was a remarkable year, and while we couldn’t mingle in person, we were pleased that hosting the happy hour virtually enabled more of our partnership members, who are spread out across the country, to join us. Executive Director Tyra Dent Smith spoke on behalf of AAFEA. For our charity selection for 2020, we encouraged our partnership members to donate to their local food banks to support those in need in their own communities.

AAFEA Leadership Development Workshop

September 14-16, 2020 | Virtual

Management Concepts was pleased to host the 16th Annual AAFEA Leadership Development Workshop on our virtual learning platform. The 2020 Workshop was held as an online event for the first time in AFFEA’s history.

Management Concepts also presented two sessions at the event, “Managing Change” and “Cultivating Motivation & Engagement,” part of the Professional Government Supervisor Program, a customizable private group training experience aligned with the OPM Core Competencies.
