On behalf of Management Concepts, we invite you to join our practice LinkedIn Group, Community of Change: Shaping and Shifting Culture. The goal of this practice is to:

  • Raise awareness around the value of addressing the behavioral norms that enable or inhibit an organization’s ability to deliver on mission-driven priorities, and
  • Provide best practices and tools that enable you to integrate culture change to enable individuals, teams, and organizations to deliver high-quality citizen services

This community is a space for leaders to share knowledge, and network with other professionals who care about shaping culture to enhance performance. As a member of the Community of Change, you will:

  • Gain tips, techniques, and tools from Management Concepts on how to effectively integrate culture change into the work that you do
  • Learn how other organizations are effectively shaping culture
  • Discuss “hot topics” that are impacting the public sector and its relevancy to culture
  • Develop a sense of community with leaders who are advocates of building a constructive culture

In addition, we host regular webinars on a variety of topics with guest speakers who are experts in their field. We are confident that with your participation, together, we will create an invaluable learning network, a place where people from across the public sector can collaborate to build more constructive cultures in their organizations.

Part 2: Making the Shift from Order Taker to Trusted Advisor

  • How do you go about making this shift?
  • What relationships are needed?
  • How do we get there?
  • What are the challenges that you may face?

Part 3: Sustaining the Trusted Advisor Role as a Workplace Learning Professional

  • How do we continue to demonstrate value to the organization?
  • How do we measure success?
  • How do we keep the momentum going?

During this series, you will hear from two distinguished individuals, CoP guest speaker Deadra Welcome and from Management Concepts Lahaja Furaha.


Deadra Welcome, CPLP, CPTM is the Founder and CEO of Concerning Learning LLC, who is a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM), and a Kirkpatrick Bronze Level Certification credential holder.

Lahaja Furaha serves as Organizational Culture Lead and Senior Human Capital Advisor for Management Concepts. In this role, she is responsible for the design and implementation of methodologies to improve organizational performance.
