Welcome to Management Concepts. Can we assist you?
Management Concepts is proud to be a Corporate Alliance Partnership Program (CAPP) member of the National Grants Management Association (NGMA) .
As a strategic partner, we maintain a close connection with NGMA National Headquarters and Washington Chapter and stay up to date on the issues that matter most to the grants community.
In 2021, the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee released a report on “Lessons Learned” through the process of managing COVID-19 funding. To help grant professionals better leverage these lessons, Management Concepts created a quick reference guide of the lessons learned with tips for implementing them for better award management.

“Single Audit 101 for Grants Managers: - Understanding Audit Terms and How Findings Impact Your Grant Management” Wednesday June 29, 2022 1:00-2:30 PM ET 1.8 CPEs in Auditing
Join us for a reprisal of our AGT session as Sarah Hluchan, Product Management Director, Grants, and Tom Devine, Product Management Director, Financial Management, present “Single Audit 101 for Grants Managers - Understanding Audit Terms and How Findings Impact Your Grant Management.” When you review your grantees’ single audit during pre-award risk assessment--do you know what you’re looking for? What does ‘unmodified’ opinion mean? Do you need to be concerned about that material weakness? What about those questioned costs? This session decodes the language of the single audit, providing participants with a new understanding of what findings means and where potential risks lie. We will then discuss how to effectively leverage this knowledge when awarding grants.
